Art of love

Art coming from the heart

Have you ever thought about music as being an art of love? I mean, looking around in the big world of music, you find lots of talented people (some of them are teenage superstars or so), but doing what they do for money, fame, guys/girls (in the best case). Many people are satisfied with them, but seemingly a lot more find them annoying. And that is my point too. Doing music is not just a job. It must come from one’s heart. Else how the player/singer is committing fornication with art! (That is a hard one, I know)

Let’s say that you merry someone because your parents say that he/she is the best mate for you (like in some exotic cultures). But you know well that your marriage will not work. Why? Because there is no love in there.

It’s exactly the same in music. If you do not make it like it’d come from deep inside, making it with love, your art will be a nonsense.

This is why I prefer classical music a lot. That cannot be done without loving it. Why? Because the listener will feel if someone is playing on the instrument because he/she loves playing music.

Anyways… talking about love: did you know that there are 4 types of love? I’ll discuss it later :)

PS: Choose your music with your mind but the help of your conscience.
